Miles, who was victimized by brothers Andy and Nayel Ashkar, who sold Miles the winning ticket in 2006. They claimed it was worth only a few thousand - not the $5 million actual prize. Only when the brothers tried to claim the winning ticket last year did the scheme unravel. Andy Ashkar went to jail for the fraud, and now the lottery commission's investigation has concluded that Miles is the rightful owner of the winning ticket. His attorney, Steve Cambareri, says his client is "elated the lottery prize has finally been awarded to him."
