DOT reports that the Route 370 bridge currently under construction will be closed for three days beginning Friday.
The work on the bridge will require it to be completely closed beginning 6 pm Friday, with all traffic directed to various detour routes. It plans to resume Monday morning with its controlled alternating traffic signal. The closure is to allow workers to complete the second of two concrete deck pours for the bridge. The work is very weather dependent, so the actual closure times could vary.
Here are the complete detour routes to be used during the bridge shutdown:
Eastbound (Baldwinsville to Liverpool): From Route 370, turn north onto NY 631 (the Baldwinsville bypass), turn right onto NY 31, turn right onto Onondaga County Route 57, then turn right onto John Glenn Blvd, returning to Route 370.
Westbound (Liverpool to Baldwinsville): Turn right or continue onto John Glenn Blvd, turn left onto Onondaga County Route 57, turn left onto NY 31, then turn left onto NY 631, returning to Route 370.
Local traffic will be permitted on Route 370 in both directions on the west side of the river between NY 631 and Hayes Road.
