An Elbridge woman who died while learning to ride a motorcycle was the victim of an undiagnosed heart condition.
The Post-Standard reports that Marianne Pitcher apparently had a heart condition that could have failed at any time. Her husband Eric says an official from the Medical Examiner's Office called him with the explanation. Marianne and Eric were taking a motorcycle class in Dewitt when Marianne suddenly flipped off the bike. She was rushed to the hospital, where she later was pronounced dead.
