"America's Most Haunted Hotel" Resides In Eureka Springs, Arkansas

In a fascinating mix of radio news and haunted houses, the Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, is said to be have a “portal to the other side!” Called “America’s Most Haunted Hotel,” the hotel was owned by a radio personality by the name of Norman Baker who claimed he had medical knowledge, but was really a “quack.”

Baker, who railed against big business, used the call letters KTNT which stood for “know the naked truth.” Baker purchased the hotel in the 1930’s and opened up a cancer center, treated people with phony medications, and was a critic of the American Medical Association. Many people died under his care.

The “portal,” according to spiritual mediums, is where the hospital morgue was. Mediums claim that the portal holds the ghosts of the dead and can be accessed by those on the “same frequency” as the ghosts! Yikes! Anyway, it’s quite an interesting story, especially at Halloween time, right?
