Central New York Welcomes Old Man Winter In A Big Way!

Thanksgiving is over, we have turned the calendar to December, and we are now in the heart of the Christmas season! And right on cue, Mother Nature decides that it is time to let us know the Old Man Winter is now firmly in control.

We woke up this morning to anywhere from 8-16 inches of snow from the season’s second Nor’easter! Schools and colleges cancelled classes giving students an extended Thanksgiving vacation! City and town officials cautioned people to stay off the roads giving plow crews the chance to keep the roads clear.

This is really nothing new for we folks in Central New York. We are a hearty bunch and have been through this type of weather many times before! Nonetheless, take care venturing out today. The roads will be slick and the snow isn’t suppose to end till later tonight. Take care everyone and try to be considerate of your fellow Central New Yorkers!
