Blake Shelton was very close to quitting The Voice.  He said he was doing season 3 and season 4, then the CMA's and his Christmas special and it was all within three weeks of each other. He was like...that's it, I quit. Figure it out, I'm going home. Obviously he calmed down and stayed on the show.
