NYPD officer DePrimo encountered a homeless, shoeless man on freezing winter night in New York. DePrimo offered to get him socks and shoes. The officer walked to a near shoe store and shelled out $75 for insulated winter boots and thermal socks. Thats not all, he returned to the man, knelt down and put the footwear on him! The officer has kept the receipt, he stated, “to remind me that sometimes people have it worse.”

What an honorable act of kindness!
