Meet Stella Ehrhart. She is an 8-year-old third grader who has been wearing a different costume to school each day since the second grade. These costumes, however, aren't ordinary costumes. They are inspired by one of Stella's favorite books: "100 Most Important Women of the 20th Century." She dresses like a different inspirational woman each day of the school year! Stella has dressed like Queen Elizabeth, Billie Holiday, Rosa Parks, Sandra Day O'Connor and Georgia O'Keeffe, to name a few. She's even dressed like her best friend. Her costumes aren't flashy and don't interfere with the school day, and her teachers have even used Stella's social fashion sense as a teaching tool. What I love the most about Stella is that she looks up to these women not because of what they look like or how many Twitter followers they have (okay, as if Twitter had existed for Rosa Parks - but you know what I mean!), but because of their brains and the impact they've made on society. Stella is a Badass Chick! Read all about her here.
