Today's Badass Chick is Robin Key, a woman who is working really hard to raise money to buy her 9-year-old handicapped niece, Katie (an equally-Badass Chick!), a new van. When Katie was in-utero, her brain didn't develop properly, which left her wheelchair-bound and unable to communicate verbally. But that doesn't stop Katie and her mom, Heather (ANOTHER Badass Chick!), from doing all sorts of cool things like swimming, going to Disney Land and playing baseball. But as Katie grows and gets older, she is outgrowing the old van that she and her mom use everyday to get them places. So here's where Badass Chick Robin Key comes in: for two months she's secretly been raising money to buy Katie a new van. While the cat is now out of the bag and both Katie and her mom know about the secret project, Robin isn't going to stop fundraising until she can get Katie that van!
