Marlon Wayans’ new comedy "A Haunted House" pokes fun at the found footage horror genre. Ever since "The Blair Witch Project" first creeped out moviegoers 14 years ago there’s been an endless string of scary flicks based on the idea of discovered home movies.

So does Marlon think his parody finally signals the death knell of the found footage genre?"I hope they keep on making them. I think found footage genre is one of the greatest things that ever happened to broke film makers. you don't need $150 million budget. So, you can be really creative and I'm glad that I was able to do the first found footage comedy," he tells us.

Considering the Paranormal Activity franchise has raked in over $350 million there will be plenty more grainy video tapes coming to the big screen.
