E!’s Ken Baker caught up with Ryan during “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to elaborate more on the possible Destiny’s Child Super Bowl reunion. And according to Baker, it’s looking good!
Ken tells Ryan: “I’m going to tell you Ryan, 99.9% yes. And the reason why I’m leaving that .1%… up to chance is because no one will confirm this for me. I literally have asked everyone who would possibly know to confirm it…and no one will actually confirm that Destiny’s Child will be joining Beyonce.”
However, although lacking a confirmation, Ken believes: “Here’s what I think is going to happen…at some point after Beyonce conducts her hits were going to see Michelle [Williams] come out with Kelly Rowland…and there will be a reunion. Don’t forget they have a new song, “Nuclear”…I think they’re using this as a platform to get that song out and come back out in a big way.”
So what can we expect for sure? Ken furthers: What’s for sure is she’s been practicing all weekend and rehearsing…obviously going to be a lot of dancing and acrobatics…it’s going to be a big spectacle.”
Adding to our hopes that the Destiny’s Child reunion will happen is Michelle’s play Fela’s website, which states “PLEASE NOTE: Michelle Williams will not be appearing January 31st – February 3rd.”
Hmm, now we’re really getting excited!
