Supermodel Naomi Campbell phoned in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to chat her latest gig—mentor on Oxygen’s new modeling competition show, The Face.
Although admitting doing a reality show is “a whole different ball game for me,” the supermodel does enjoy being a mentor.
But at the end of the day, Naomi shares: ”I’m in a competition. Period. I want Team Naomi to win.”
Explaining some of the drama with Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha stems from: “I definitely think I have the stronger personality of all the teams. And for me it’s reality but someone is going to win this competition and we have her life and career in our hands and her start in the business so I take it seriously in that aspect. And for me, the time is limited with the girls so I want them to get as much out of me as possible in the mentoring aspect.”
So how did Naomi handle the task initially?
Naomi furthered: “You know, what’s great is, the first day I went in and they were looking at me and I was like, ‘Forget about me. We have limited time, lets get work done do not be phased by me.’ And once that was said, it was fine.”
