Selena Gomez has officially left her past Disney self behind in new movie Spring Breakers and her role in the Harmony Korine directed flick has made such an impact on the actress, it’s influenced her upcoming music!
After taking a year off to focus on her acting, the 20-year-old shared she’s worked harder than ever on this upcoming album, adding her music was heavily influenced by the Skrillex and Britney Spears tracks featured in the movie.
Selena describes her new music as “pop-electro” and revealed her first single off the upcoming album “Come and Get It” will drop in April.
We can’t wait to hear!
Selena’s movie Spring Breakers opens in limited release in Los Angeles and New York Friday, March 15th and everywhere March 22nd.
