Steve Carell phoned in to “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to chat his latest movie The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and that incredible, er, comedic costume he had to sport in it!

Steve, who plays a famous magician in the comedy and dons a chest-bearing red velvet suit with some major spray tan, shared: “You know what, it’s like you put on all that stuff…and it affects you, you can’t help but act a certain way when you’re wearing something like that.” Adding, when he walked down the strip in Vegas, people didn’t think twice, “no one raised an eyebrow!”

So how did Steve’s wife of almost 20 years feel about the getup? “This one affected her because with my spray on tan I ruined several sets of our bed sheets.” Adding, “it never dries…you’re leaving a golden brown trail behind you wherever you go.”
