Kendall and Kylie Jenner don’t just look great in clothes … they’re designing, too.
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to chat about their brand new summer line with PacSun, Kendall & Kylie, which hits stores and PacSun.com nationwide on May 12.
So why did they decide to design their own clothes?
“I think a lot of our fans see us on red carpets and pretty much out and about and on the show and I think we really wanted to make it more about our casual style and what we wear on the weekends,” explains Kendall, 17. “It’s really summery. PacSun was the perfect fit for us … the California vibe, summery beachy.”
The sisters will be making appearances at PacSuns in Southern California to promote their line, where they will meet with fans and sign autographs (only the first 500 will be guaranteed a chance to meet the two and buy pieces from Kendall & Kylie).
On Friday, May 10, they’ll be at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica at 3 p.m. and on Saturday, May 11 at the Brea Mall in Brea at 12 p.m.
Meet-and-greets like these have been a good way for Kendall and Kylie, 15, to know more about their fans. In the past, “A lot of people come wearing what I usually wear, like boots that I usually get or stuff that I post on Instagram,” says Kendall. “They’ll be like, ‘I got this idea from you!’”
And just because Kendall and Kylie are so young, it doesn’t mean their fashion line is only for teens. “Anyone can wear it,” insists Kendall. “My manager actually wears a lot of our stuff sometimes. My mom … she walked into the kitchen the other day wearing one of our jackets.”
