WOOHOO!!!  I'm on vacation next week!!!  And WE MOVE NEXT WEEK!!!

I don't get it.  The Wii came out 2 years ago... and they still don't have enough of them.  The head of Nintendo has already come out and said there probably won't be enough for the demand this Christmas in North America.  I think they're doing it on purpose to keep the craze going... keep them hard to get and people will want them more. 

I got a Wii right after they came out... I waited in line at Target in Fayetteville for hours and got my Wii and I LOVED it.  But I can tell you I haven't played it in MONTHS.  It lost it's coolness soon after I got it.  It's not fun to play alone, but if you have people over all the time it's probably great for you.  It's a group activity video game... I'm not giving it up... Ted's girls have fun with it sometimes and I know they'll put a game out soon enough that I will love but the wii isn't doing it for me anymore...

I'm not the only one that doesn't use their Wii anymore either... a lot of people have sold theirs after a few months.  I only tell you this so you can use the info to feel better if you haven't found one yet... It is really cool and fun, but it seems more of a novelty to me than a serious game console.

I want to BUILD THINGS!!! I think Ted thinks I'm a little nutty... but I did some "home improvements" last night... OK, I had an old child's table and chair set that needs sanding and staining... and I started last night... in my jammies... sanding and staining... and I think I did a good job!  But I've always wanted to be able to build things... so I told him that when we've won Mega Millions and have our dream estate along with a private movie theater in the house I want a room of power tools so I can make stuff.  I loved watching shows like Trading Spaces because they made it look so easy!  I know I could make a book shelf.  I think I could make a lot of things... I just lack the equipment!  But I did have fun with the sanding and staining... tonight... I SPRAY PAINT!!!  MUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So I ordered a bunch of stuff for the new place last week...

And I know I chose the cheapest shipping options... but the wait is KILLING ME.  I think I'm driving Ted nuts with the constant checking online, but he should know by now how my OCD works!!!!

We're also moving 10 days from today!  10 days!  10!  I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO IN 10 DAYS I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WILL ALL GET DONE IN TIME!!!

So... here's my to-do list.

Pack and clean kitchen.  Pack and clean bathroom.  Get rid of 2 ugly couches and pack and clean rest of living room.  Bedroom is a disaster and will take a lot of packing and cleaning! (we live in there in the summer... window AC rocks, other AC is expensive to run and we only use it when the girls are over so the bedroom is the living and dining and tv room as well).  Pack all my crap up here, that should take a whole day to do.  I also have a couple of tables to paint... but I need a couple of dry days to do it!  Oil based paint.. fumes... I'm loopy enough already thank you!

So... I will be boring with updates this week...

OH.  We saw THE DARK KNIGHT. 



Yes, it is as awesome as the hype.  Heath Ledger IS the Joker.  Perfect.  Nobody could top that performance.  He was scary crazy.  If that performance isn't oscar worthy I don't know what is.
